Job Opportunity: Account Manager (Temporary-permanent)

Location: Stoke on Trent, ST1 area.
Contract Type: Temporary- permanent
Working Pattern: Full Time. Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm. Fully site/ desk based.

Rate of pay:-14.35ph

Our client, a leading player in the logistics and transportation industry, is seeking an enthusiastic Account Manager to join their team in Stoke on Trent. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day client communications, service issues, and agreed actions.
• Monitor order accuracy, dispatch, stock, returns, and SLA performance.
• Prepare clear performance reports and lead regular service reviews.
• Gather forecasts and promotional plans to support operational planning.
• Coordinate service improvements, on boarding, and operational changes.
• Maintain accurate account and activity records
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met with exceptional service.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for client inquiries
• Identifying opportunities for account growth and up selling additional services.
• Monitoring account performance and preparing regular reports for clients.

The Ideal Candidate:

Our client is looking for an individual who possesses the following skills and attributes:

• Previous account management or client-facing operational experience.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and organisational skills.
• Commercial judgement and confidence using KPIs and forecasts.
• Experience in logistics, third-party fulfilment or e-commerce is preferred.
• Good Microsoft Excel and CRM skills; Salesforce experience is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to think on your feet.
• A customer-focused mindset, with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
