Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance EngineerLocation: City of London / Central London (Commercial Office Building)Contract Type: Permanent, Full-TimeWorking Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week (shift times TBC)Salary: 45,000 - 48,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + Overtime and Benefits PackageAbout the RoleWe are recruiting for an experienced, fully qualified Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join an established on-site facilities management team at a modern, high-spec commercial office building in Central London.In this permanent role, you will take lead ownership of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules, statutory water compliance, and reactive repairs across the building''s mechanical, HVAC, and primary plant systems. You will work closely with the wider engineering and building management team to ensure optimum plant efficiency and tenant comfort.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) across all mechanical plant, HVAC systems, and building services infrastructure.Investigate and rectify faults across Fan Coil Units (FCUs), Air Handling Units (AHUs), pumps, motors, heat exchangers, and calorifiers.Monitor, adjust, and diagnose plant alerts via the Building Management System (BMS).Carry out routine water hygiene and temperature monitoring in compliance with L8 statutory standards.Respond promptly to reactive work orders, tenant comfort calls, and plant room alarms.Supervise, induct, and manage specialist sub-contractors ..... full job details .....
