Skilled Carpenter Floorboard Installation Location: TW10 (Richmond area) Type: Skilled carpentry / flooring work Building: Grade II listed property We are looking for an experienced, careful carpenter to carry out floorboard work in a Grade II listed building in TW10. The main task is to carefully reinstate or lay floorboards, taking particular care to protect the existing fabric and character of the property. The ideal carpenter will have: Proven experience with traditional and/or period propertiesExcellent attention to detail and a careful approach to existing floorsExperience working with floorboards, joists and timber flooringAn understanding of the additional care required when working in a Grade II listed buildingGood workmanship and the ability to leave a clean, professional finishTheir own tools and appropriate equipmentReliable, tidy and professional working practicesImportant: This is delicate work where preserving existing materials and avoiding unnecessary damage is essential.
