Quantum Care are looking to recruit people from a cross section of the community to contribute effectively as Non-Executive Directors at Quantum Care Ltd. Following a recent skills audit of the Board, the following areas have been identified as being essential for the future development of the organisation: clinical practice, property development, ICT, Local Authority relationships, together with an understanding of risk management and strategic planning. We are keen to recruit people with a balanced approach to providing high quality care within defined financial constraints. We are also keen to increase representation on the Board with people from ethnic minority backgrounds, women and people living with a disability. Previous Experience and Knowledge: Experience of working as an effective team member, possibly as a member of a Board of Directors or Management Committee member. Experience of team management at a senior level. Strategic planning and financial management Professional experience at a senior level, with experience in one or more of the following specialist areas desirable: clinical practice, ICT, property development, Local Authority relationships. Experience/knowledge of the issues concerning the care needs of frail older people. An understanding of the role of a Non-Executive Director and the role of Governance within an organisation such as Quantum Care Ltd. Abilities and Skills: Ability to work effectively as a member of a team with other Board members a
