Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk – Temp (3 Months)
Location: Maidenhead
Salary: £36,000–£40,000 pro rata
Contract Type: Temporary – 3 Months
Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm)

I’m working on an exciting opportunity for a Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a highly regarded organisation on a 3-month temporary contract. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys fast-paced environments and wants to play a key role in keeping supplier payments and invoicing running smoothly. What You’ll Be Doing:
• Resolve supplier queries by phone and email, maintaining professional and productive relationships.
• Reconcile supplier statements monthly, update supplier accounts across the group, and implement sustainable reconciliation processes.
• Support the PO platform by identifying inefficiencies and recommending process improvements aligned with business operations.
• Work closely with finance colleagues, provide cross-functional support, and assist in mentoring junior team members when needed.
What We’re Looking For:
• Strong Excel skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to meet tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Prior experience in a similar finance role
• Familiarity with Business Central (desirable)
• Resilient and adaptable team player
• Problem-solver with a proactive mindset
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
