Health and Safety Co-Ordinator

Primary Responsibilities Internal Compliance Review: Conduct regular reviews of Health, Safety and Welfare practices across all sites. Incident and Near Miss Analysis: Review all near misses and accident reports. Accident Reporting and RIDDOR Compliance: Manage accident reports. Notify the HSE under RIDDOR regulations. Safe Systems of Work: Provide guidance on implementation and maintenance of Safe Systems of Work. Internal Audits: Lead internal audits of site HandS practices. Occupational Health Monitoring: Collaborate with HR. Coordinate, support Occupational Health monitoring across all sites and communicate to Senior Stakeholders. RAMS Oversight: Conduct initial reviews on Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) submitted from site teams, feedback and manage compliance. Annual HandS Improvements: Advise on annual HandS improvements. Review current systems, assess and assist the implementation of updated practices. HandS Communications: Compile, distribute monthly HandS newsletter. Quarterly Meetings: Present key safety findings and updates. Lifting Equipment Compliance: Check accurate records of lifting equipment and accessory certifications. High-Risk Activity Management: Liaise with site teams to identify and manage special risks. Training Initiatives: Manage essential training. Design Process Involvement: Provide HandS guidance, in design phase.
