Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid accounting experience to gain exposure across multiple finance functions, develop their skills, and support the smooth running of the financial processes.Opportunity to progress to support with the Management Accounts within the next 12 months.THE ACCOUNT ASSISTANT / FINANCE ASSISTANT ROLE:As the Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant, you''ll be responsible for processing the day-to-day financial transactions and support all aspects of financial administrationAccounts Payable / Purchase Ledger: Check and match purchase orders with invoices, process supplier payments, and reconcile statementsAccounts Receivable / Sales Ledger: Raise sales invoices and credit notes, assist with credit control to minimise bad debtsManage customer liaison to ensure timely payments and positive cashflowRecord daily figures and prepare journal postings to the general ledgerPerform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepanciesAssist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial informationSupport stock reconciliations and liaise with payroll providers as neededAssist
