SEN Behaviour Mentor - Primary to Sixth FormAre you a psychology graduate passionate about supporting children and young people with complex behavioural needs?Do you have experience working with SEN pupils who display high-level, challenging behaviour?Are you Team Teach trained and confident using de-escalation techniques in a safe, therapeutic manner?Teaching Personnel is working with several specialist SEN provisions in Reading to recruit resilient and committed SEN Behaviour Support Assistants. This role will involve supporting pupils from Primary age right through to Sixth Form.The Role - SEN Behaviour Support AssistantYou will support children and young people aged 5 to 18 with some of the most complex behavioural and emotional profiles, including:Severe behavioural needsSEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) challengesAutism (ASC), ADHD, PDA profilesTrauma and attachment-related behavioursHigh levels of dysregulation and crisis behavioursYour responsibilities will include:Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with challenging behaviourUsing Team Teach and de-escalation techniques confidently and professionallySupporting pupils with emotional regulation and managing triggersHelping students develop coping strategies, resilience, and positive behaviour routinesPlaying a key role in classroom engagement, transitions, and structured activitiesImplementing individual behaviour intervention plans in collaboration with SENCOs and teachersSupporting a safe, struc
