This City-based Corporate team continues to grow and, following recent hires in London, they are seeking a Corporate Finance lawyer of 4 or more years’ PQE to join the team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-value, complex MandA, IPO and other UK capital markets transactions primarily for leading listed UK businesses, investment banks and, increasingly, international clients. You will enhance your experience in corporate finance with an emphasis on plc clients and equity capital markets. The team works with leading UK and international companies to deliver strategic, transformational deals. They are a recognised market leader in capital markets work and public takeovers, and sectors including financial services, tech, retail and consumer and energy and infrastructure, completing over 200 deals annually across more than 40 jurisdictions. They advise clients on the full range of corporate finance transactions including: • MandA (both domestic and international) • Public company takeovers• Capital Markets (the team is confident in the long-term prospects of London''s listed markets and are growing our team''s capability in ECM at all levels) • Advisory.The successful candidate will undertake the following: • Assisting on the full range of corporate finance transactions - strategic MandA, public takeovers, IPOs and secondary fundraisings • contributing to the growth of the corporate finance practice through active involvement in business development • collaborating with team members, including mentoring and instructing trainees and paralegals, and working alongside senior colleagues on key workstreams.Candidates will have experience in Corporate Finance, ideally advising preferably UK corporate clients on a wide range of corporate finance transactions, including IPOs, secondary fundraisings and takeovers, as well as public company matters more generally.
