Job Description: Risk and Compliance Manager Location: BristolFirm: Legal 500 Law FirmSalary: DOE Circa up to £80K Hybrid working: 2- 3 -days WFHAn established UK law firm is expanding their Risk and Compliance function and is seeking two experienced Managers to join a growing central team. The roles report into a senior risk lawyer and offer exposure to high-level, firm-wide risk and compliance matters.You will act as key escalation point for complex and higher-risk issues, while also managing a broad portfolio of risk, compliance and best-practice projects. This is a varied and influential role suited to someone confident advising senior stakeholders in a professional services environment.RESPONSIBILITIES Advising partners and staff on complex risk and compliance issues, including professional standards, ethics, regulatory requirements, data protection and conflicts Supporting senior risk leadership in embedding a strong culture of compliance across the firm Leading risk and compliance projects and advising on the risk aspects of new business initiatives Producing and analysing risk and compliance data to identify trends and areas for improvement Updating core firm documentation, policies and guidance materials Designing and delivering tailored risk and compliance training to practice groups Monitoring regulatory and legal developments impacting the firm Escalating higher-risk matters to governance committees and preparing briefing papers Coaching and supporting junior team
