Position: Welder / Pipefitter

Welder / Pipefitter is required in Ledbury for our client, a well-established engineering company. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding and pipefitting work as part of a range of engineering and fabrication projects, using MIG and TIG welding techniques to produce high-quality work to the required specifications.

• Carry out MIG and TIG welding on a range of engineering and fabrication projects
• Undertake pipefitting and associated fabrication work
• Read and work from engineering drawings and specifications
• Prepare, fit and weld components and pipework to the required standards
• Ensure completed work meets the required quality and specification
• Work safely and maintain a clean and organised working environment
• Work as part of an engineering team to complete projects to the required timescales

• Previous experience as a Welder / Pipefitter or in a similar engineering role
• Strong MIG and TIG welding skills
• Experience with pipefitting and fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant welding / fabrication qualifications would be advantageous

• Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience -28,80043,200
• Further details regarding working hours and benefits to be confirmed but likely 08:00-17:00 monday-thursday and 08:00-15:30 fridays.
