• Eligibility for Security Clearance (need to have lived in the UK for a minimum of 5 years)
• Full, clean driving license (travel to other data centres will be required)

My client is looking for a Data Centre Technician to join a fast-growing, forward-thinking tech team delivering high-impact services across multiple UK data centre sites.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with early experience in data centre operations or IT support, who''s looking for genuine progression, in-depth training, and the chance to work with advanced technologies in a real-world environment.

What You''ll Do

• Supporting the deployment and ongoing operation of high-availability infrastructure
• Managing and maintaining customer racks, structured cabling, and power allocation
• Handling hardware installs, moves, replacements, and decommissions ("lift and shift")
• Logging and tracking work through ticketing systems and internal tools
• Helping to maintain a clean, secure, and client-ready environment on the data centre floor
• Participating in a 24/7 shift rota, with occasional travel between regional data centre sites

What You''ll Bring

• Hands-on experience in data centres, IT infrastructure, or hardware support
• Knowledge of structured cabling, racking, and basic network concepts
• Ability to troubleshoot, document tasks clearly, and follow established processes
• A proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and a customer-first approach
• A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to other local sites
