Customer Service and Shipping Manager (Entirely office based)Key ResponsibilitiesShipping and Logistics OperationsManage day-to-day shipping activities using carrier portals including major Freight Forwarders.Oversee domestic, EU and international export shipments, packing lists, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.Act as the main point of contact for courier providers and freight partners.Export and Regulatory Compliance:Manage correct packaging, labelling, documentation and declarations.Oversee export shipping to the EU, ensuring compliance with post-Brexit customs and trade requirements.Classify products accurately using correct HS codes and maintain updated records.Prepare and review commercial invoices, packing lists, customs declarations and supporting export documentation (AWB''s).Team Management:Lead, support and develop a dedicated shipping/logistics team.Provide Customer Care excellence (Customer Facing).Provide training on shipping systems, compliance requirements and best practices.Essential:Customer Service experience both B2B and B2C - EssentialHands-on experience with Shipping/Freight portals.Solid understanding of HS codes and customs classification.Experience managing or supervising a small team.This is 80% Customer Care, 20% Export Shipping related
