Insurance Officer needed!Hourly Rate: 18.04phContract Duration: Until April 2027Location: Devon, TQ12This is a part-time role over 3 days (22.5 hours per week) - happy to discuss suitable daysPurpose of the RoleAs an Insurance Officer, you will provide essential administrative and operational support to the Council''s insurance function, helping to ensure that insurance claims are managed efficiently and in accordance with financial regulations and best practice.Working within the Systems and Transaction team you will provide support handling insurance claims from initial notification through to resolution. This will include liaising with internal colleagues and a range of external partners such as insurance brokers, insurers, claims handlers, solicitors and loss adjusters to progress claims effectively.You will be responsible for maintaining and updating the insurance claims database and assisting with the development of associated systems and processes.
