Your new role As Development Underwriter, you will be responsible for reviewing and underwriting new business quotations across all products within the agreed underwriting appetite, ensuring that all queries are handled within business service level agreements. You will work closely with Business Development Managers to maintain and develop strong broker relationships across the territory, supporting trading activity and new business development.You will act as a referral point for Underwriting Assistants within the team, providing guidance and support where required, and will collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure all underwriting activity is completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with agreed processes.
