A leading UK renewable energy developer is moving its 500MW Sundon battery energy storage project into delivery. They need a Grid Project Manager to lead the grid connection and electrical works on site, safely, on programme and on budget. The role Lead site meetings and manage the grid and electrical work packages day to day, with clear, timely reporting. Track progress against the project programme, using short-term and look-ahead programmes. Act as the main contact for subcontractor site management, and support subcontractor selection, procurement and design. Manage QA documentation and compliance against project procedures, specification and design. Issue site instructions and work with the commercial team to keep progress moving. Build the package commissioning plans and manage technical, programme and commissioning interfaces with the other project managers. Set the standard on safety and behaviour, and guide the project and design engineers. You''ll have Experience as a site-based project or package manager on HV grid connection, substation or BESS projects. Strong subcontractor management, programme control and QA/completions experience. Working knowledge of CDM 2015 and HV safety on energised sites.
