Job SummaryWe are looking for a motivated Night Chef to join our culinary department at Grosvenor House Suites on a permanent and full-time basis! As one of our Night Chefs, you will be solely responsible for providing dishes to our guests and team during the night and preparing the mise en place for the morning team and using your initiative and culinary skill to achieve the highest standards of food and guest service.Reports To: Executive Chef, Sous Chef and Junior Sous ChefThis role is to cover long term sicknessKey ResponsibilitiesTo organise and set up the assigned section of the kitchen and prepare dishes as efficiently as possible to increase speed and maximise productivity.To ensure that all dishes are prepared consistently and according to standard recipes.To prepare mis en place for the following dayTo prepare nutritious meals for our teamTo supervise the Night Kitchen PorterTo always control the quality of the product you use and report any discrepancy to the Sous Chef or Head Chef to ensure consistent freshness and quality.To constantly maximise the quality and presentation of dishesRequired QualificationsProven experience in a similar roleExcellent customer service skillsFriendly, approachable, and professionalNVQL2 food preparation or equivalentBasic Food Hygiene qualification5 Star Hotel Experience idealAbout UsGrosvenor House Suites offers a luxurious and sophisticated lifestyle at Londons most exclusive address.
