Production Coordinator
Location: Alcester
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Our client, a well-established and growing business based in Alcester, is seeking a highly organised and proactive Production Coordinator to join their busy operations team. This is a varied role that would suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing multiple projects, deadlines and requests simultaneously. Candidates with experience within the merchandise or product supply sectors would be particularly well suited, although candidates with transferable skills from similar industries are also encouraged to apply.  

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinating the flow of customer orders through the production process.
• Maintaining accurate production records, spreadsheets and documentation.
• Monitoring order progress and updating internal tracking systems.
• Liaising with suppliers, customers and internal teams to ensure deadlines are met.
• Managing product samples and associated administration.
• Checking and processing documentation with a high degree of accuracy.
• Supporting the wider operations team with day-to-day administrative tasks.
• Helping to ensure projects run smoothly from initial order through to completion.

• Previous experience in a production, merchandising, purchasing, supply chain or administrative role.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to efficiently multitask and manage competing priorities.
• Confident IT user with strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Proactive, adaptable and able to work on their own initiative.
• Comfortable working in a busy environment where priorities can change quickly.
• Experience within a merchandise or product-based business would be advantageous but is not essential.
