This hands-on role combines strategic procurement with day-to-day operational responsibility, ideal for someone looking to make a real impact across supply chain performance, cost control, and service delivery.Key DutiesVendor and Supplier ManagementBuild and maintain strong supplier relationships, including on-site and off-site visits.Develop and deliver supply chain initiatives and strategic improvements.Issue supply forecasts and monitor KPIs and supplier performance.Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers.Identify, onboard, and manage suppliers on an ongoing basis.Purchasing and MRPOversee the purchasing and MRP process.Raise purchase orders for stock and ad-hoc requirements.Ensure process compliance and continuous improvement against KPIs.Liaise with Finance to ensure accurate PO matching.Maintain data integrity within the ERP system.Inventory ManagementManage inventory levels to maintain service and reduce dead stock.Identify supply constraints and implement contingency plans.Support bi-annual stock takes alongside the Warehouse team.Monitor inventory value against budget and performance indicators.LeadershipLead, develop, and support the purchasing/supply chain team.Conduct annual performance reviews.Promote best practice and continuous improvement.Requirement
