SEN Learning Support Assistant - Worcestershire
Morgan Hunt are working with a leading national Charity who are looking to recruit an SEN Learning Support Assistant in Worcestershire. This is a full time, permanent contract paying £28,500. The role will be office based as well as visiting local employers. The primary purpose of this role is to provide support to special needs learners in the classroom with employability coaching to secure job outcomes. A part of the roll will also require supporting the learner find work placements. The successful candidate will need to be able to drive and be able to travel across Worcestershire.The SEN Learning Support Assistant will be responsible for: Supporting and assisting learners in the classroomConducting job coaching sessions and employability skills to assist in the workplaceOffering pastoral supportCollaborating with Tutors to ensure all elements of the programme are completedEngaging with local employers to secure work placement opportunities The SEN Learning Support Assistant will need to: Have experience of working with learners with special educational needsWorked with post 16 learners preferably within an employability settingBe flexible with travel across North London and the surrounding areasBe qualified to a minimum of Grade C in GCSE English and Maths or equivalentHave a full UK driving licence and access to their own carHold an enhanced Children and Adults DBS If you would like to work for an organisation determined on advancing young peoples careers through educ
