Assistant Manager - Bilateral Credit Salary: £41,600Department: Bilateral CreditGrade: Assistant Manager About the Role We are looking for an Assistant Manager - Bilateral Credit to join our Bilateral Credit team within Wholesale. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, assessing credit and financial risks, preparing loan proposals and managing loan assets. The role will involve regular interaction with corporates, banks and financial institutions, as well as internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Understand the loan syndication market and identify potential business opportunities. Scout the market and generate business leads in line with agreed targets. Assess financial and credit risks associated with potential business opportunities. Prepare loan proposals and present them to the relevant credit committees. Support syndicated loan, project finance and structured finance transactions. Manage assigned loan assets and monitor the quality of the loan portfolio. Maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, corporates and other market participants. Gather market intelligence and identify opportunities for participation in syndicated loan deals. Coordinate the documentation and completion of sanctioned loan facilities, including liaison with solicitors and relevant stakeholders.
