Aspire are seeking a committed and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dedicated team at a specialist SEN school. You will play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning for pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, communication needs, and/or learning difficulties.Working closely with class teachers and the wider multidisciplinary team, you will help deliver high-quality, inclusive education and support pupils to reach their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.Key Responsibilities Plan, deliver, and assess learning activities under the direction of the teacher Lead small group and one-to-one interventions tailored to individual needs Support pupils with SEN, adapting learning approaches as required Assist with the development and implementation of EHCP targets Manage behaviour positively in line with school policies Provide feedback on pupil progress to teachers and senior staff Support classroom organisation and contribute to a safe, nurturing environmentThe Ideal Candidate Will Have HLTA qualification or equivalent experience Experience working in an SEN setting (essential) Strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents Calm, patient, and resilient approach to supporting challenging needs Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeingWe Offer A supportive and welcoming school environment Ongoing pro
