We are looking to appoint a Senior School Office Administrator on a fixed-term maternity cover basis starting November 2025. This part-time role (three days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm with an hour for lunch) offers an excellent opportunity for an organised and personable individual to support the smooth running of the Senior School office.The successful applicant will work closely with the Senior School Secretary, providing essential administrative and clerical support to pupils, staff, and parents. This varied role requires a calm, professional, and approachable manner, along with flexibility and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.The Senior School Office

The Senior School Office is central to the day-to-day life of the school, acting as a hub for communication and administration. The Senior School Administrator plays a key role in managing pupil queries, handling phone calls, overseeing lost property and confiscated items, and supporting parental communications and school events. The role also includes providing cover for the School Reception and assisting with routine administrative duties such as reprographics and post management.The successful candidate will be a team player, able to work constructively with colleagues and maintain confidentiality with discretion and integrity. Familiarity with key IT packages and experience in an educational environment will be advantageous.Salary and Benefits

The salary for this post will be between £30,000 and £34,000 pro rata (£18,000 to £20,400 actual), depending on qualifications and experience.
