The RoleIn this role you will be the main 1 to 1 support for a child who is in their final year of nursery before starting school and is currently supported in a quieter, individual space. While highly able, the child experiences significant sensory aversion to peer interaction. The setting is working carefully and thoughtfully to support a gradual transition into shared learning and social interaction with other children.This role would suit a strong graduate or experienced practitioner with a solid understanding of SEND, particularly sensory processing needs, who can provide consistent, calm, and responsive support during afternoon sessions.Key Responsibilities:Provide dedicated 1:1 support tailored to the child s sensory and emotional needsSupport gradual and structured transitions towards peer interactionWork collaboratively with the nursery team, SENCO, and the child s familyContribute to and support the development of the child s EHCP, which is currently in progressSpend part of each afternoon working in the main nursery room, providing respite time and wider classroom supportThe Ideal Candidate Will:Have a str
