Divisional Financial Controller Location: LeicesterHybrid: 3 days on siteSalary: Six figure package including bonus, car and hybrid working We are supporting a large, established manufacturing business in Leicester with the appointment of a Divisional Financial Controller. This is a senior role within a sizeable division, supported by a decent size finance team reporting in. The role reports directly to the Finance Director. This is not just another controllership post. There is genuine succession potential to Finance Director level. The current Finance Director wants to mentor and develop someone with a clear pathway in place and, for the right individual, that move could happen in as little as 18 months. This is progression by design, not by accident. The role will include: • Leading budgeting and quarterly forecasting• Owning the annual budget process• Coordinating the 5 year strategic plan for the Board• Preparing board decks and performance commentary• Overseeing impairment testing twice yearly• Coordinating audit across multiple entities• Validating and challenging capex and investment cases• Working closely with commercial and operational teams• Attending senior operational meetings with factory managers• Visiting sites monthly across a multi location manufacturing footprint• Driving systems improvement and controls enhancement• Supporting on acquisitions and integration activity This is a heavy industrial, asset intensive environment.
