You ll be responsible for setting out and executing groundwork tasks to a very high standard, ensuring structural integrity, aesthetics, and compliance with project specs and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities Brickwork and Brickwork Repairs Build and repair walls, footings, pillars, etc., using varied bonding techniques and mortar mixing. Make precise repairs replacing damaged brickwork, patching mortar joints, repointing. Excavation and Drainage Works Interpret plans to dig trenches and form footings accurately. Install and repair drainage systems (pipes, gullies, soakaways), working in confined spaces where required Hard Landscaping (Paving and Block Paving) Set out and lay paving slabs, block paving, kerbs, and edgings with accurate levels, tight joints, and clean finishes. Ensure proper bed preparation and compaction for long-lasting surfaces High Pressure Water Jetting Safely operate HP water jetting equipment to clean brickwork, paved areas, drains, and sewers.
