The business provides specialist financial solutions to its clients and is known for its commitment to fair treatment, transparency, and long-term partnership.The finance team plays a central role in ensuring strong financial control, accurate reporting, and the smooth running of all core accounting processes for this high volume data business. This role will take ownership of the financial systems of record and lead a small team.As the business undergoes a period of change, we''re seeking a proactive candidate who is looking to add value and develop, and can work in an agile and dynamic environment, offering a wide variety of work.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the day-to-day operations of the internal finance team (three direct reports).Maintain an accurate general ledger (Sage Intacct), ensuring:All inbound transactions are processed correctly across automated and manual feeds.Daily and monthly reconciliations are completed for all entities.Monthly management accounts, quarterly VAT returns, and ad-hoc reporting are delivered to a high standard.Review and enhance internal controls, systems, and processes, implementing improvements where required.Accounts preparation/ audit liaison / process and controls / intercomp
