The role of Senior Bookkeeper: Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering bookkeeping, VAT returns and Making Tax Digital requirements. Prepare management accounts and year-end trial balances. Process client payroll, including PAYE, pensions and Construction Industry Scheme requirements. Build client relationships, answering queries and explaining financial information clearly. Support new client onboarding and help ensure an organised handover of records. Guide junior colleagues and contribute to improvements in working processes. Visit client premises and attend occasional local business networking events. To be considered for the role of Senior Bookkeeper: Hold an ICB, AAT or equivalent qualification. Have at least five years'' relevant experience within a UK accountancy practice or industry. Be confident using cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and FreeAgent.
