Our busy construction client is seeking an Accounts Technician to support the Finance Manager with bookkeeping, financial reporting, and year-end accounts in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities: Prepare annual and year-end accounts for SME clients Support audit preparation and statutory reporting Complete VAT returns and Companies House submissions Maintain cash books, bank reconciliations, and financial records Manage sales ledger and debtor reconciliations Liaise with external advisors and provide general finance support Requirements: Qualified or part-qualified Accounting Technician (AAT, IATI, or equivalent) At least 2 years'' experience in a busy accounts/finance role Strong bookkeeping and accounting knowledge Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills Benefits: Competitive salary 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays) Company pension contribution Recruitment referral scheme Health Cash Plan and Surgery ..... full job details .....
