Workshop Recruitment are looking for a field service technician skilled labourer to carry out routine and planned maintenance work. Attending sites and conducting emergency callouts, upgrades. repairs and installations all training will be given. The ability to work days and nights is essential with the opportunity for weekend overtime work.Duties and Responsibilities:Carrying out routine/planned scheduled maintenance workWorking in pairs with the leading engineerResponding to breakdown and equipment faultsDiagnosing breakdown problems and carry out first time fixFitting new parts and making sure equipment is working correctly prior to signing offLiaising with client departments, customers and other engineering and production colleaguesDealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairsEnsure van stock is controlledTo complete timesheets/expenses on a regular basis and submit on timeTo ensure PPE is adequate for the HandS purpose and arrange for new kit to be ordered when requiredPerform with an understanding of business requirements and support all continuous improvement activitiesRespond to customer enquiries in a professional mannerUsing the correct processes to record your workEnsure report forms are completed accuratelyEssential requirementsKnowledge of electrical and/or mechanical systemsMust have a full UK clean driving licenseKnowledge of Microsoft Office softwareGood customer service and communication skillsAble to work under pressureReliableAble to work nights
