Reporting to the Repairs and Maintenance Team Leader, this hands-on role involves carrying out both responsive and planned maintenance tasks across a portfolio of properties.If you have a practical background in flooring, painting, decorating, or general maintenance, and you''re looking for a role where no two days are the same, this could be the opportunity for you.Key Responsibilities:Working across both occupied and void (empty) properties, your duties will include but are not limited to:Flooring Installation and MaintenanceCleaning existing flooring and preparing surfaces (including levelling compounds)Removing and repositioning furniture and doors as neededInstalling underlay and fitting flooring using various methods (grippers, adhesives, heat-sealing, etc.)Installing a variety of materials including wood, laminate, and vinylRemoving old flooring and ensuring proper disposalPainting and DecoratingPreparing and cleaning surfaces (e.g., scraping, sanding, steam cleaning)Removing old wallpaper and flaking paintRepairing cracks and filling holes in walls and woodworkSanding and preparing surfaces for painting or redecoratingOther Responsibilities
