We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/TIG Welder who takes pride in producing high-quality, clean welds and complex assemblies.

Key Responsibilities

Working within a high-spec manufacturing environment, your duties will include:

• Precision Welding:-Executing high-quality TIG welding on various components, primarily focusing on thin-gauge sheet metal.
• Bespoke Fabrication:-Assembling metal components by following technical drawings and strict project specifications.
• Tool Proficiency:-Effectively using a range of hand and power tools to finish and refine fabricated parts.
• Quality Assurance:-Conducting rigorous self-inspections on all welds to ensure they meet exacting industry standards.
• Workshop Safety:-Maintaining an organised workspace and adhering to all health and safety regulations at all times.
• Team Collaboration:-Working alongside the wider production team to optimise workflow and meet delivery deadlines.

Candidate Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:

• TIG Expertise:-Proven experience in TIG welding is essential. You must demonstrate a deep understanding of welding principles and heat control.
• Technical Literacy:-The ability to accurately read and interpret complex technical drawings and blueprints.
• Fabrication Skill Set:-Practical experience in sheet metal fabrication and mechanical assembly processes.
• Material Knowledge:-Experience working with stainless steel and aluminium is highly advantageous.
• Numerical Skills:-Basic mathematical proficiency for precise measurements and material calculations.
• Reliability:-A disciplined approach to work within a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment.
