Job Title: Site Manager - Clean and Waste Water Location: Derbyshire Salary: Circa £60k + Benefits Job Description: My client seeks an experienced and qualified Mechanical Site Manager to oversee multiple sites, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in all operations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in pipefitting, mechanical engineering, or water industry projects, with proven experience managing teams and delivering exceptional results. Key Responsibilities: Liaise with clients and report progress to senior management. Attend internal and external project meetings as the company representative, reporting progress, actions, or escalations to senior management. Ensure all work complies with water industry regulations and approved standards. Attend design and commissioning meetings to ensure assembly aligns with drawings. Oversee plant ordering, effective utilisation, and site logistics. Monitor project costs and progress. Conduct quality and safety inspections, including water hygiene compliance. Deliver toolbox talks and actively encourage safety observations on-site. Required Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience as a Site Manager or in a similar role. Must be able to travel to UK sites. A mechanical or engineering background is essential. Strong knowledge of pipefitting, water hygiene, or mechanical engineering principles.
