Blair Drummond Smiddy

Farm Shop, a family-run farm shop in Blair Drummond, near Stirling. The role leads hospitality across The Smiddy (cafe, takeaway, bakery) with plans for growth. Reports to the Managing Director and acts as second-in-command, leading cross-team initiatives.Key responsibilities

Accountable for commercial performance, customer experience, colleague satisfaction and operational metrics across hospitality offerings.Lead and develop hospitality teams; manage operations and drive system improvements to support growth.Translate ambition into action; build scalable processes and contribute to the Three-Year Plan.Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders in a fast-paced, customer-led environment.Qualifications and experience

Commercial acumen with ability to identify opportunities and translate into actionable plans.Ability to work in a dynamic environment; hands-on when needed, with leadership to empower others.Team management skills; experience coaching high-performing teams.Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to influence in a family business.Strong customer service passion and product knowledge.Analytical skills and budgeting experience; ability to set and review revenue and staffing budgets and act on data.Operations management focus; improving systems for faster, better outcomes.Salary and benefits

Excellent salary dependent on skills and experience on offer: £45,000 - £50,000 plus benefits including 29 days holidays and a bonus scheme up to 10% of annual salary.How to apply
