Job description: Fostering Social Worker Caerphilly Pay rate up to £38.43 per hour Umbrella company subject to level of hire in line with ADSS pledge An exciting opportunity has become available in the fostering service in Caerphilly The authority are looking for a social worker to join them for 18.5 hours per week for an initial 3 month contract to undertake assessments. Pay rate for this role is in line with the All Wales Pledge. If you are looking for a new challenge in fostering then the service is a busy, supportive and experienced service offering a range of support and assessment services and they are keen to develop further to ensure they provide a skilled and quality service to children looked after and foster carers. As an assessment social worker you will undertake viability as well as Connected Persons Assessments. We are looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic social worker who have a knowledge and understanding of the needs and experiences of children looked after and a working knowledge of fostering regulations and childcare legislation. You will need to have knowledge of the updated form f assessment and process as per latest regulations and be familiar with the National Foster Wales Framework.
