Our client is a global leader in the Software services field. They are now seeking an experienced Financial Accountant for a 3 month contract based at their prestigious central London offices. This is a hybrid role with 2 to 3 days a week in the office. Duties of the Financial Accountant: Maintain financial records and ensure that financial transactions are properly recorded. Ensure the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconcile subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger. Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports. Analyze current costs, revenues, financial commitments incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. Skills/Qualifications Strong technical (US GAAP) and financial accounting expertise. Month end close experience (Journals and reconciliations). Compliance filing experience (Financial statement preparation, VAT, Corporate tax). Accounting software. (Oracle financials ). Excel and presentation skills. Professional Accounting qualification, ACA or ACCA. Big 4/Top 10 Accounting firm background would be great. Benefits Global company Supportive staff Free Breakfast
