Role Overview:We are looking for a compassionate and experienced SEN TA to support a child with additional needs (ASD, speech delay, or sensory needs). You''ll assist with tailored activities and help build routine and communication skills. This is a part time position, starting as soon as possible and lasting for a year in the first instance.About the Nursery:Our inclusive nursery offers specialist provision for children with SEND. We provide a supportive and nurturing environment with small-group and 1:1 support led by an experienced SENCo.Key Responsibilities:Provide 1:1 or small group supportImplement EHCP and therapy goalsUse visual aids and SEN strategies (PECS, Makaton)Work closely with the SENCo and parentsPrerequisites:Experience working with SEND childrenKnowledge of EYFS and SEN strategiesCalm, patient, and resilient approachEnhanced DBS check required All candidates who register with Simply Education are required to provide references for the previous 2 years of work, as well as complete an enhanced DBS check. Any interviews we hold will be conducted over a Teams call.
