Senior Project Manager - M&E

We''re looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong M&E background to join a growing construction team delivering major commercial projects across Birmingham and the wider Midlands.

The role will suit a hands-on project leader with experience delivering large-scale commercial, industrial, warehouse or logistics projects, who can manage projects from pre-construction through to completion while maintaining a strong focus on programme, quality, cost and safety.

As Senior Project Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of commercial projects, working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading the delivery of large-scale commercial and industrial projects.

• Managing M&E packages and ensuring effective coordination with the wider construction programme.

• Taking responsibility for programme, budget, quality and project performance.

• Managing and coordinating subcontractors, consultants and site teams.

• Working closely with the client and project stakeholders to ensure expectations are met.

• Identifying and managing project risks, variations and commercial issues.

• Ensuring projects are delivered safely and in accordance with relevant standards and legislation.

• Driving project meetings, reporting and progress updates.

• Managing the commissioning, handover and close-out process.

You''ll ideally have:

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager / Project Manager within the construction sector.

• A strong M&E / building services background.

• Experience delivering commercial, industrial, logistics or warehouse projects.

• Experience managing large subcontractor teams and complex M&E packages.

• Strong understanding of construction programmes, budgets and project controls.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• A commercially aware and proactive approach to project delivery.

• Relevant construction qualifications such as SMSTS, CSCS and/or a recognised project management qualification would be advantageous.
