Electrical EngineerMONDAY - FRIDAY DAYS 8:15 am - 17:00 pmEarly Finish 1 day per week 34 Days Annual Leave We are looking for a skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the maintenance team at our clients busy manufacturing site in Blackburn.Working both the electrical and mechanical teams you will be responsible for maintaining, fault-finding, repairing and improving electrical equipment and machinery to ensure the safe and efficient operation. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys problem-solving, working in a fast-paced environment and contributing to continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities for an Electrical Engineer Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical equipment and machinery. Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimise equipment downtime. Respond to breakdowns and carry out effective fault-finding. Maintain motors, control panels, sensors, inverters and electrical systems. PAT Testing Support installation, commissioning and modification of electrical equipment. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations and company procedures. Complete maintenance records and report recurring faults. Work closely with mechanical engineers and production teams to maximise equipment reliability. Identify opportunities to improve machinery performance and reduce downtime.
