A growing construction and property services contractor is looking to appoint an Estimator to join its established pre-construction teamThis role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of refurbishment, maintenance, repairs and planned works projects, producing accurate and commercially competitive tenders that support continued business growthThe successful candidate will play a key role in evaluating opportunities, managing the estimating process from enquiry through to submission, and working closely with operational and commercial teams to secure new projects Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions across a range of construction projectsReview tender documentation, specifications and scope of worksObtain and assess subcontractor and supplier quotationsIdentify commercial risks, opportunities and value engineering solutionsLiaise with operational and commercial teams to develop winning tender strategiesPresent cost plans and tender recommendations for internal review and approvalMaintain tender records and report on bid performance and success ratesSupport the development of supply chain relationships and framework opportunitiesAssist with project handovers to delivery and commercial teams following contract awardAbout YouWe are keen to speak with candidates who have:Previous estimating, quantity surveying or pre-construction experience.Experience within construction, maintenance, refurbishment or property services ..... full job details .....
