As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you''ll play an important role in supporting the commercial management of a wide range of construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing client valuations and applications for payment
• Assisting with cost reporting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Supporting tendering and estimating activities
• Monitoring project costs and maintaining accurate commercial records
• Assisting with contract administration and subcontract management
• Supporting risk and opportunity assessments
• Providing commercial support to project delivery teams
• Ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and company procedures

We''re looking for someone who is motivated, eager to learn, and keen to build a long-term career within the construction industry.

Ideally, you''ll have:

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A Construction, Quantity Surveying or related qualification (HNC, HND, Degree, or equivalent) - desirable
• Previous experience working for a main contractor or within the construction industry is advantageous but not essential
• A genuine passion for developing a career in Quantity Surveying

• Salary up to -45,000 depending on experience
