Warehouse Supervisor Stoke on Trent ST1 Temp to perm Key role and responsibilities: Supervise warehouse staff and allocate daily workloadsEnsure orders are completed accurately and on timeResponsibility for parcel carrier shipments (e.g. DPD, DHL, Royal Mail) and the pick/pack process for systemsYard maintenance Emptying of skips and hygieneCheck motorised equipment is functioning correctly i.e. PPT, VNA, Forklift, reporting of any nonconformance, ensure completion of pre-use checksMaintain accurate stock recordsSupport stock counts and inventory auditsManage warehouse supplies and resourcesRequirementsPrevious experience driving VNA advantages but not essential Proven supervisory or team leadership experienceStrong understanding of warehouse operations, including goods receiving, storage, stock control, picking, packing, and dispatchKnowledge of Health and Safety legislation and safe working practicesProblem-solving and decision-making abilitiesFlexible approach to working hours and operational demandsWorking hours: Rotational shift Week 1 - 08:30 -17:30 Monday to FridayWeek 2 - 10 00 Monday to FridayWeek 3 - 08 30 Monday to Friday and a Saturday 09 00Pay rate: £13.60 - £14.00 - per hour PAYE, paid weeklyStatutory Deductions for TAX, NI and Pension if not opted out apply This job is commutable from the following areas, Stoke on Trent, Newcastle under Lyme, Hanley, Longton, Burslem, Tunstall, Fenton, Trentham and surrounding areas.If you believe that your skills and ..... full job details .....
