This is a hands-on, physical role where you''ll be responsible for stripping down, cleaning, repairing and rebuilding kiln cars to keep production running smoothly and safely.Kiln cars are large and heavy-duty, capable of holding up to 20,000 bricks at one time, so attention to detail, safe working practices and the ability to work efficiently are key. Key ResponsibilitiesUsing small hand tools to take apart kiln cars and access damaged or worn componentsHoovering/cleaning kiln cars thoroughly before and after maintenanceRepairing or replacing parts in a timely manner to minimise downtimeReassembling kiln cars correctly and safely, ensuring they''re ready for useManual handling as part of the role, including lifting up to 25kg What We''re Looking ForExperience in a hands-on repair / maintenance / mechanical environment (kiln car experience is beneficial but not essential)Confident using basic hand tools and working to practical instructionsAble to work at pace while maintaining quality and safety standardsComfortable with physical work and manual handling (up to 25kg)Reliable, punctual and able to work on your own initiative as well as ..... full job details .....
