As a Design Technology Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and practical Design Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Inspire students to explore design, innovation, creativity and problem-solving.
• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that challenge and support learners of all abilities.
• Assess, track and monitor pupil progress to ensure strong outcomes.
• Foster a positive learning environment where students feel motivated to succeed.
• Promote high standards of behaviour, achievement and classroom engagement.
• Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities within the department.
• Maintain safe working practices within specialist workshop and practical teaching environments.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards QTS.
• Possess strong subject knowledge in Design Technology.
• Have experience teaching within a secondary school setting.
• Be passionate about practical learning and student achievement.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Be able to motivate, challenge and inspire students of varying abilities.
• Work effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive team.
