We are seeking an experienced Facilities Assistant to join our client in Coventry on a temp to perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and hands-on individual with experience in a facilities assistant role, looking to contribute to the smooth running of up to 5 sites, ensuring they are well-maintained and operational.

Key Details:

- Location: Coventry
- Hourly Rate: £12.21 per hour
- Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:30 to 16:30, Friday 08:30 to 13:30
- Sites Managed: Up to 5 locations
- Contract Type: Temp to Perm

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the general maintenance and upkeep of all sites, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
- Perform routine inspections and checks on building systems, reporting any issues to the Facilities Manager.
- Carry out hands-on tasks such as minor repairs, furniture rearrangement, cleaning, and ensuring facilities are safe and operational.
- Assist with managing supplies and inventory for facilities.
- Coordinate and liaise with contractors and service providers to ensure that maintenance and repairs are completed efficiently.
- Support the team in handling day-to-day facilities-related requests and issues.
- Ensure all sites are compliant with health and safety regulations.

Skills and Experience:

- Previous experience in a facilities assistant role or similar is essential.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to perform practical maintenance and repairs.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A proactive and reliable approach to work.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with colleagues and external contractors.
- A valid driving licence is preferable, as travel between sites is required.
