We are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development/ Area Sales Manager to develop and grow sales across Northern England.The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting Norseal s comprehensive range of fire door, acoustic, smoke control, fire stopping and sealing solutions to: Timber door manufacturersArchitectural ironmongersDoor set manufacturersFire door manufacturersSpecialist distributorsJoinery manufacturersPassive fire protection companiesSpecification influencers The role combines new business development, account management, product specification and relationship building to increase market share and revenue growth across the region.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development Identify, prospect and secure new customers within the timber door manufacturing and architectural ironmongery sectors.Develop strategic sales plans to achieve territory sales and margin targets.Create and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM systems.Generate new opportunities through networking, industry events, exhibitions and referrals.Secure product approvals and preferred supplier status with key customers. Account Management Manage and grow existing customer relationships.Conduct regular customer visits and business reviews.Deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations.Identify opportunities to increase product penetration within existing accounts.Negotiate commercial agreements and annual contracts.
