Meridian Business Support is recruiting Personal Shopper & Delivery Drivers on behalf of our client to support the launch of a new supermarket fulfilment and home delivery service in Ashford TN23 7HQ.-

This is an active, customer-facing role combining order picking, retail support and customer deliveries. You''ll work independently using a company-provided device to manage orders, pick products and deliver completed orders directly to customers when required.

What you''ll be doing

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately
• Managing orders using a smartphone-style device
• Checking orders before dispatch
• Delivering customer orders using your own vehicle
• Providing excellent customer service
• Following clear processes and working independently

What we''re looking for

• Reliable, punctual and professional
• Confident using apps, smartphones and touchscreen technology
• Strong attention to detail
• Customer-focused with good communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver, Online Order Picker, Retail Assistant, Warehouse Operative, Store Assistant, Customer Service Assistant or Fulfilment Operative would be advantageous but is not essential.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence
• Access to a suitable, roadworthy car
• Social, Domestic & Pleasure insurance
• Ability to obtain Hire & Reward insurance before making deliveries
• Right to Work documentation and photographic ID
