This includes carrying out planned maintenance activities, inspecting machinery, and identifying potential issues before they lead to equipment failures or production downtime. The technician responds to equipment breakdowns by diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and robotic systems. They work quickly to restore production while maintaining safety and quality standards. A key part of the role involves fault finding and root cause analysis. Maintenance technicians use technical drawings, diagnostic tools, and control system information to identify the underlying causes of recurring issues and implement permanent corrective actions to improve reliability. Maintenance Technicians also support continuous improvement activities by identifying opportunities to reduce downtime, improve equipment performance, and increase overall production efficiency.
