7formation is looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join the team, based in Corby, Northamptonshire. The Quantity Surveyor role: As an ambitious and enthusiastic Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of construction / fit out projects by overseeing the financial aspects from inception to completion upstream with our clients and downstream with the Supply Chain. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the costs associated with construction projects, ensuring that they remain within budget while meeting quality and regulatory standards. Main responsibilities of the Quantity Surveyor include: Being esponsible for tender preparation, submission and project completion in compliance with all HSQE procedures. Monthly CVR (Cost Value Reconciliation) process. Providing commercial expertise to contracts, to include the production and submission of valuations, claims, and budget monitoring. Supporting the authorisation and submission of project variations. Authorising the placement of contracts, subcontracts, material and plant orders Maximising cash flow through the control, measurement and valuation of work, and the invoicing of customers and payment of suppliers Ensuring projects proceed to Client s specification and satisfaction.
