We''re recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering and manufacturing organisation seeking a Project / Manufacturing Engineer to act as the critical link between engineering projects and production.This role plays a key part in supporting new products from late-stage design through to full-rate production, ensuring manufacturing issues are resolved quickly, production readiness is achieved on time, and quality standards are maintained throughout.The Role As Project / Manufacturing Engineer, you''ll be the primary engineering point of contact for production, working closely with project managers, production engineers, test teams and supply chain to keep manufacturing running smoothly.You''ll support New Product Introduction (NPI) activity, help transition designs into production readiness, and take ownership of test equipment, production planning support, and issue resolution across the manufacturing lifecycle.Production Support and Issue Resolution Act as the day-to-day engineering interface for production and test teams when issues ariseInvestigate and resolve manufacturing or test problems, including fault-finding and root cause analysisLiaise with stores, quality, supply chain and external partners as requiredSupport the management of non-conformances, corrective actions, and drawing or documentation updatesWork closely with the Project Manager and Design Authority to resolve production-impacting issues Production Readiness and Planning Work alongside Production
